It sounds to me like you actually succeeded in having a WILD and just didn't realize it. Most of the time when you WILD, the dream starts in the exact same place and position you fell asleep in. These feelings you describe sound very much like you had transitioned into the dream state. Do you remember what happened after this attempt?
