Hi guys, |

Hi guys, |
|
I occasionally doze off when trying to WILD, and I usually forget I'm sleeping on a bed. |
|
First of all, when are you trying your WILD attempts? You shouldn't do them right when you get into bed, because you're not that relaxed; also, you're not in REM so there's nothing to form a dream. I've gotten some HI and one episode of SP without prior sleep, but I was extremely tired and the experience was very short-lived. It's best to WILD after 4-6 hours o sleep, or 4-6 hours after getting up in the morning. |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

I just had my first WILD and all I focused on was the back of my eyelids, and the faint colors I can pick out when looking at them. I had mine after napping a bunch in the afternoon, and didn't sleep much the night before. |

Try some galantamine and choline, that will put you into sleep paralysis lol. Seriously though, it will. But if you dont want to try that, make sure you've slept for about 4 1/2 hours and do a wbtb. You've probably checked out all the threads about doing a WILD, and if not, check them out. Most of those threads are just starting points, but usually you have to find what works for you and kind of tweak those induction techniques till it fits your needs. You to find something that works for you personally because alot of induction techniques aren't going to work for everyone, but like I stated, are mostly a starting point until you figure out what works and what doesn't work for yourself. But the G&C that I told you about put me into sp many many times. Although I did get into sp myself before that when I woke for a second and I turned onto my side and went straight into sp. Check out yoshis wild technique, it's basically the same thing I just stated. |

I am surprised that not more people have done the Timer Method. I have pracctised Traditional WILD for months, without any result or progress. Then I bought the Lucidology 102 just because I were so frustrated that I couldn't succeed WILD (Allthough you don't have to buy it the Timer is all you need, still a good read though). Well then in the Lucidology 102 packet I recieved a PDF file with Questions and Answers from Nicholas Newsport and a 2 hour video with him answering alot of questions, and he explained that (This I can say because it is in the Lucidology 101) Stop Drop and Roll is not designed to make you come in waking sleep paralysis that you can transition to a OBE/Lucid dream, it's just a relaxation method to make you fall asleep and then come in unconscious sleep paralysis. And the first thing new pracctioners have to do in order to become familiar with how to transition and so on is to use the Timer Method to get to waking sleep paralysis and have some experience of the feeling of the wake and asleep treshold (sleep paralysis). |

yea its like a can-wild. A deild is exiting one lucid or non-lucid and then going into another lucid after that. Usually staying still after u wake up and then going straight into another dream. The alarm thing is just to make it so you get into sp more easily cuz your mind will remain a little more on the conscious side because it thinks its going to get woken up soon. |

WILD is difficult to accomplish. I attempted it this morning after sleeping for a little while. I attempted it for about 40 minutes or so. My limbs almost felt like they were falling asleep, but I never made it beyond that point. The only time I seem to succeed in a WILD is if I do it as soon as I wake up. I have to keep super relaxed and tired... the last WILD I did took just about 2 minutes easy to enter the dream, but that was a long time ago. |
