It can be tricky to find something that works for you. Everybody is a bit different. I don't like to focus on my body when I'm trying to WILD, because it keeps me tied to my physical body. I normally have to ignore my body to the point where I forget all about it. Here are a few things you can try:

Imagine yourself walking down a long flight of stairs, or spiral stairs. Count every step as you feel your foot hit it.

Imagine climbing an infinite ladder that extends upward from your body in bed, count every rung as you climb.

Count your breath on every exhale. Each time you exhale and count, blink your eyes open and then shut again (reverse blinking).

I actually did this last night to put myself in trance to make auto-suggestion more effective for MILDing and it worked really well, better than any other technique for relaxation I've tried. So I'm definitely gonna check this out for WILDing tonight. How many of your LDs come from WILDs?

Always, no sometimes think it's me,
But you know I know when it's a dream
      I think I know I mean a yes
      But it's all wrong
That is I think I disagree
