Sounds like sleep paralysis to me. At least the numbness, lights, vision, and getting hot part happened to me as well. |

I just tried for the last 2 hours. I listened to binaural beats for 10 minutes then counted my breaths down from 100 then just layed there for about 20 minutes then i tried repeating that i would have a lucid dream over and over and over and then i imagined a dream scene and then i tryed to imagine touching everything in my dream scene then i tried to imagine i was sinking into my bed. |

Oh. |

I can't tell. I'm no expert, and I only tried it once. I don't suppose you give a damn, but if you do, here's my experience with SP: I'm never going back to sleep - Dream Journals - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views |

Was there ever a moment where you felt a certain ear popping sensation where your hearing sort of cut off for a brief second?, the first time I got real sleep paralysis as well as my first WILD, my ears popped multiple times first, then I heard a really loud ringing and vibration all throughout my body. If this happens to you, stay calm and still, you should pop into a dream automatically. And to answer your second question, once you are in sleep paralysis, the transition to a dream can take from seconds to minutes but there isn't really anything you do, you just let the dream scene appear in front of you, at least thats what I did. |

^^^^^ that happened the time before so i got all excited and waited for it to happen again |

Well you should be glad that you're already getting some results this early. In the future, I wouldn't try longer than an hour if I were you. |

You use the word tried a lot and i think that's your problem. Of course I'm certainly not a expert at WILDing but i do seem to have a natural tendency to get as far as SP without much effort so I'll give you some advice anyway. I usually just let my mind form dream scenes for me, i don't TRY to imagine anything it just happens and whenever i do TRY to imagine something i start to lose SP. You should just let it come to you and don't try to hard because it makes you to aware and you won't ever be able to do it (from personal experience). That's my piece of advice. just throwing it out there. |
