In explore the world of lucid dreamer of Stephen LaBerge, he mentions a good way to spend a big chunk of your sleeping cycle in REM, is waking up after 3/4 hours, then staying up for 2 hours and then induce WILD or your prefered technique.
When I tried it yesterday:
- WILD wasn't working (I seemed too awaken). When I calmed myself down and my mind was empty, I could feel hypnagogic images and body sensations, but unless I had a false awakening, nothing happened for 1 hour of trying. I slept and had my longest and most vivid/detailed dream.
Tried it today: WILD keeps not working and I actually took 30mins to empty my mind and relax before going bed.
So, should I turn around every 10minutes and keep myself awaken until the WILD works? Or make shorter WBTB?
