Just a question: would sleep deprivation help induce a wild? What I mean by that is staying up all night until your in that stage where it's easy to enter sleep. Another question if you were to stay up all night and try the next day would you hit a rem period or not. The reason I'm asking this question is because I'm sure you all have experienced that tiredness where you start thinking random thoughts and dreams start generating infront of you as you drift off. I just think it would be easier to achieve a wild with this also I have heard that sleep deprivation is a key factor in people experiencing sleep paralysis. I don't plan on doing this regulary I'm just curious. Tell me your thoughts |

If you must know I am going to try this once as I have struggled with wild and the one time I think I did it I was really tired before hand. I have trouble sleeping after waking in the middle of the night and so wilds are really hard. Like I said I realize this is unhealthy and I don't plan on continuing with this method. |

i find that sleep deprivation is VERY helpful in inducing WILDS, especially at bedtime. that daydreamy visualization feeling is a surefire indicator to me that it will be easy to wild. |

Sleep deprivation can help you become lucid, but it also SUCKS. If you have ever missed a night of sleep, you know how painful it can be. I don't think it is worth it. There are so many other great ways of becoming lucid that actually improve your quality of life and sleep. |
