First ever Wild : Very Easy

Alright , so I attempted to WILD for over a month. Waking up every night, laying still for sometimes over an hour and never had any success.

So I pretty much gave up on WILD'ing , It has been 2 weeks since iv'e made any attempt at all.

Well last night I ate a marijuana brownie, 2-3 hours before bed, I don't really remember falling asleep, except the fact that I was very relaxed.

All I can remember is waking up in the middle of the night ( still very high ), laid still with my eyes shut, not really attempting a WILD, but the thought of WILD'ing may have been in the back of my mind.
I then started to see shapes form, made from white outlines. The shapes then became more vivid , turning into pictures and then eventually a full dreamscape. I'm pretty sure i saw a large TV and then i fell into the picture on the screen.
Keep in mind this was pretty much instant, instead of the usual hour of attempting.
I was in the WILD for quite a while, when I woke from the WILD, i kept completely still with my eyes shut and fell back into another WILD. I did this 3 or 4 times.

So I pretty much had a WILD, without even trying. All because of a marijuana Brownie.

Has anyone had any experience with eating/smoking marijuana before sleeping and having success with Lucid dreaming ?

I have smoked many times before sleeping, but this was the first time eating it before sleeping.

There seems to be no correlation between marijuana and lucid dreaming at least for me. Marijuana is proven to reduce your REM sleep in the beginning of the night, which is the sleep needed for dreams, but then this causes the body to kick into a REM rebound and you dream more intensly for the latter part of the night when the high wheres off. Personally, I have had lucids on days where I was high, so It doesn't really positively or negatively effect LD'ing to me. Haven't tried WILD'ing while high tho, sounds like it could be something interestng to try.

I agree, although weed could have aided by allowing easier relaxation ;P

Only thing is I can hardly remember any of it at all , Just the symbols and them advancing in to more vivid images. Cant remember any of the "Lucid" dream , is that normal?

Im not sure if that is because of the Marijuana or the fact I have practically no dream recall.

You experienced some gnarly CEVs and hypnagogia from the weed high (which is actually the same thing as sleep hypnagogia except without the paralysis), but you probably didn't enter a lucid dream. Even if you did, you can't really take credit, can you? It was the drug. You can prove it to yourself: get really high during a time of day when you'd never be asleep, like 11 am for most people. Get in a relaxed position and close your eyes. You will experience some hypnagogia, but you know it can't be actual lucid dreaming because a) you can't get into REM that time of day, I don't care what drugs you're on, and b) you're not paralyzed and you can move any part of your body at will, meaning you're not asleep.

I know I'm bursting your bubble, but it would be a shame to see another kid get addicted to marijuana due to some wrong ideas they had about lucid dreaming.

Sorry, but this sounds like a DEILD chain not a bunch of WILD's.

Maybe it was the brownie. I volunteer to test this theory :p

I wouldn't suggest you keep using it. It's not really reliable for WILDing. You may get some strange images, sensations, or dream precursors, but if you really want to have real-feeling and long LD you'll have to master the technique yourself.

In fact I think you should give up your special brownies altogether...and send them to me XD
