      SP induction questions

      Hi everybody
Can you tell me, when is the best time to induce SP? Should I wake up before REM or during REM? And, how i can find REM cycles? The autosuggestion is the best way? And the lest question. What is the best method to keep mind awake? Counting? Mantra? Or something else?
      Sorry about my english

well, you don't really need to achieve SP, but if you want to know, i lay in my bed, try to figure out the most comfortable position and try not to move. Keep your eyes closed and it will come eventually. The most important thing is that you move as little as you can (if you need to scratch, scratch but be still if you can). I dont know for how long were you trying, but for me it comes after 30-40 min of lying in bed

That's not entirely true. Even if it was true, it would make LDing easier, only if you can make it to SP easily. But you obviously can't, since you asking about it.

So what you did is instead of concentrating on how to get LD, first you gave yourself a task of learning how to get into SP and then LD.

I don't blame you. You must have read a tutorial, in which they led you believe, that for LD you need SP. You don't need SP to WILD. If you normally get SP (you have a disorder), then you can use being paralized to exit into WILD.

But if you never had SP before, you will most likely not be able to induce SP. SP is a natural thing that happens after you fall asleep and start to dream. For majority of people who don't get SP, it's an extra, totally unnecessary and impossible to achieve hurdle on an already not so easy road to WILD.

Please forget about SP, read some DV tutorial (sageous) and go get some WILDs
