It should be at least 4.5 - 5 hours before attempting a WILD. So you should be ok with 5 hours. |

I want to do a WBTB and combine it with a WILD, and I heard that I should sleep for a minimum of 6 hours to ensure REM sleep. But what if I only sleep for 5 hours every night? How long should I sleep before doing the WILD then? Thanks! |

3-4 hours is best for me and for most of the WILDers who uses the same technique. But if you're saying that your avarage sleep was 5 hours long, try 2-3 hours after you sleep. But again 3-4 hours is the best when you sleep around 8-9 hours. |

15 DAYS: DEILD:[1] DILD:[16] WILD:[6]
APRIL 2012: DEILD:[5] DILD:[29] WILD:[12]
MARCH 2012: DEILD:[6] DILD:[27] WILD:[4]
I normally sleep for about 5-6 hours before doing a WILD. But of course, it varies from one person to another. |

I really think you should just get more sleep in general :/ |

You need more sleep, if you can't then taking naps throughout the day would be your best bet (I hear it's great for lucid dreaming) look up polyphasic sleeping - Polyphasic sleep - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia |
