I've been reading many guides for WILD that says that in order to stay focused one of the ways is to listen to sounds, like breathing, and just increase the volume of it and just focus on that. I thought that if you do that you would be focusing on what happens in the waking life and to my understanding that's what should be avoided, right? Personally I tried many it many times, over a hundred, but i'm still a beginner, just achieved it once. However I always keep searching new methods to WILD and I thought of this:
I am a real fan of good music. My idea is that instead of focusing on external sounds such as breathing, wind, etc, why don't we focus on internal sounds? Since i'm a fan of music it's not a trouble to me to play songs on my head. Actually I think by doing that i'm more focused than hearing my breathing, and after all it's an internal sound or imaginary sound getting you not linked to the waking life.
What do you think? It might work? I mean not only music, just something that you could easily focus without having to think. Music works great for me but no WILDs so far.
