I have been reading up on some new research results concerning the roll over signal that one gets when falling asleep. You can lay completely still and for many people if they ignore the urge to roll over then this leads to sleep paralysis. I am assuming that Yoshi's method doesn't involve using the roll over signal to induce a WILD but instead to give into the roll over signal and to roll over so that it doesn't interupt the method Yoshi advocates. If you do roll over it is customary to find a position that is comfortable for you. Having said that some people use a slightly uncomfortable position as the anchor they need to maintain awareness to enter their WILD instead of falling asleep. I know that one author finds the most uncomfortable position to be the best position for him to WILD. Experiment with different techniques by following the instructions and see what woks best for you. |
