I'm having a bit of trouble with WILD because of my heart rate, any advice?

When I'm attempting to WILD, I've gotten so close the last few weeks. And I think I have the fundamentals down to a decent extent- I'm just in my practicing mode now and I know it takes patience. But I'd like to bring up my most notable hinderance to relaxing my body into sleep; my heart beat.
Whenever I go to bed, and realize my intention is to go to sleep- I become much too conscious of the feeling of my heart beating. It's distracting and actually uncomfortable sometimes. Then, when I notice it... it speeds up, as if I've purposely trained it to do that every time. I go through my meditation processes and become relaxed and comfortable after a while, but as I remember that's it's sleeping time- there's my annoying heartbeat, back to say hello. It might be an anxiety thing.
But a problem at that point is, I don't want to get too involved in my HI visions (which are very, very realistic feeling lately) because they might get my heart too excited, and keep me awake. I can relax everything in my body except for my blood pressure. Do any of you have a method of slowing the pulse down? Any heart calming excersizes?

As a final note, I'll just add that I do try not to pay attention to it- and to just focus on going to sleep as comfortably as possible, but it's pretty hard to keep my attention away from it for long. Any input would be appreciated, thanks!
We may guess that in dreams life, matter, and vitality, as the earth knows such things, are not necessarily constant; and that time and space do not exist as our waking selves comprehend them. Sometimes I believe that this less material life is our truer life, and that our vain presence on the terraqueous globe is itself the secondary or merely virtual phenomenon." H.P. Lovecraft

Not sure if this helps, but sometimes changing a position helps me not hear my heartbeat as loud as in other position.

It is hard, but that's what you have to do. But don't think of it as keeping your attention away from your heartbeat since it's impossible to actively not think about something. Think of it as keeping your attention on something else.

I believe you can turn it around and use this as an anchor, I get the heartbeat sensation occasionally for sleep spindles, if you focus correctly you will start too feel like your moving , and will help be an anchor as it actively sticks you into the deep water quickly, it will destroy your focus to try and ignore this sensation, you have to let it come in waves and just watch as they come, don't pay attention to what has happened, but more too what is happening
