i am a noob at lucid dreaming but should I try the wild

I have had 6 lucid dreams so far,but they weren't real it felt like it was a dream.I got those lucid dreams without any technique, because I have good focus and so thats how I got them.It wasn't fun at all because I wasn't fully conscious. So I decided to try the WILD techniques.Because I hear people having vivid lucid dreams from it.And I have a few question here they are:
1.Is it wise to try the wild techique to early since I am still a beginner and I have good patience,so I have no problem how long it takes to have a lucid dream.
2.I heard that it is scary to do the wild technique you hear scary noises and see hullocination(sorry I don't know how to spell) I just really scared to try it.
3.And how was your first time when lucid dreaming using the wild technique. And how long did it take to enter sleep paralysis.
And by the way the only reason that is stoping me is,because I am scared of the things that people say.I am 14 years old so I am easily frightened by it.

Here's the answer to your questions:
      1. Begginners learn and become Amateur, So it would be wise to do WILD.
      2. When you WILD/Lucid Dream, You can control it so you can get this noise and hallucination away, Remember, It's just a dream. Don't be scared of it.
3.Well, when i used the WILD technique. I just woke up out of my bed and controlled my dream, I cooked breakfeast e.t.c (this really happened in my dreams.) It takes about 10 minutes to enter sleep paralysis

Don't be scared. It's just a dream. Also remember to do RC. (reality check)

You can certainly start trying. But first please read this excellent guide to WILD. But, not for the reason you are mentioning. If your DILDs (dreams you are having) are not vivid, that's because you lack awareness. And without awareness, your WILDs will feel the same. Good news is, that this linked tutorial will tell you all about awareness.

Please read through this thread. It will explain a lot about why you should not worry about SP at all.

It took me many tries to get a WILD. It's a complex technique and so many things have to go just right to be able to achieve it. You don't enter SP (sleep paralysis) and that's great, as you don't need it.
People who do feel SP, they also feel it during normal sleep. If you have not felt it so far, you will not feel it during WILDing.

I do frighten easily too. But just so you know, you may not have any hallucinations at all. And since you know they are all made by your mind, they can not hurt you. If you have any, they last very short time and the reward if you stay calm is a lucid dream.

1: Experience is the key to become better at lucid dreaming, so go for it.

2: It can be "scary" if you have no idea what is happening, but once you know how it works it's just another walk in the park. So do yourself a favor, and don't listen to those people..

3: My lucid dreams that i got through WILD where quite good! It took me 15-20 minutes to hit my first "sleep paralysis", but it really depends from time to time.. My advice for you is to read some tutorials, and just go for it. Practice is the key!

Hope this helps you a little bit.

I tried other techniques for the first couple months of trying and only had 1 lucid in a dild. Then I tried Wilding and within a week I had 3 Wilds and have had a steady supply of wilds ever since. So definitely give it a try, everyones different Wilding might be easier for you

Was the dild technique as vivid as the wild technique or was the wild better.Or do you have to practice on stabilization for a dild to be realistic.

Stabilizing helps you make the dream last longer and possibly more vivid and realistic. But if you say you were not fully conscious in a dream, that's not a matter of stabilizing, but your level of awareness. You can practice daytime awareness to be more consious and aware in your dreams.

well I've only had one DILD, every other lucid ive had has been a WILD. But just from my one dild, WILDing is much more vivid and insanely lifelike. But Im sure DILDs can be just as good, as I've said I've only had one :p.
