Had the most intense Sleep Paralysis/WILD

I'm not normally one to try WILD because I've always been afraid that Sleep Paralysis could go wrong.

Also, if you're wondering, I've been at this site for a long time on and off and haven't visited in a while.

But this morning (more like 1 in the afternoon) I was still asleep when my mom came in to use my full length door mirror before she left. I had a short conversation with her and rolled back over. I struggled for about 10 minutes to go back to sleep. I guess that, by some minor margin, my mind fell asleep before my body. I distinctly remember snapping back into consciousness, but I assume my mind was asleep because that's usually how SP works, and I remember "waking up" into it.

My body was tingling and I felt intense waves of vibrations. At first it was as if I was going down a mountain or a wooden roller coaster in a train. Then it felt as if I were flying along a tunnel and hitting waves. My heart beat was pounding, and I was a little bit scared. I heard something screech, and I knew that happened with HI when you got scared. So, I calmed myself down and focused on the "ride". I felt like I was gaining speed, and the waves were becoming more intense, like something out of a video game. The only thing I saw in the way of HI were red flashed timed with the bumps.

Then, I slammed to a sudden stop. All of my limbs started tingling, and then radiated with a warmth. It was very euphoric, almost like stepping in a hot shower. As the feeling intensified, I felt as though my body were being lifted. It felt torso first, as my limbs felt limp. I also remember now that my arms were above my head, folded, forearm resting on my forehead. But I distinctly remember that when I was lifted up, I felt like a ragdoll, with all of my limbs out. I was lifted higher and higher, and my body seemed to curl into itself, until I was only a single sphere of existence. I saw dark, spotted with lights, like when you close your eyes. Then, a hole opened up in it, and it seemed to be in another plane of perception entirely, resembling a wormhole. I was pulled up into it where I arrived in what I can only describe as a big, dark room of infinite space but perceptible boundaries where the ends would exponentially get closer... that is, as I moved, the boundaries would get closer with every movement, but because they were so larger, it approached an asymptote and never ended. I saw flat rectangles with images on them, what appeared to be almost TVs. Some were non sensical. some were sad. A couple scared me, because I knew of their intent. One was a the silhouette of a woman's head on a Post-it note. I knew this woman (from a past dream, I think) was a ghost who lusted after me and didn't like my girlfriend.

These images flew past me, each containing a different possibility, and each one got closer and larger, until I was hit with one, and slowly it faded into view.

I was in a lucid dream.

Little could I do, however, but stare around in wonder at what had just happened... until the silhouetted woman exited a door in front of me and came after me with a hideous intent, one that was perceptible yet not quite tangible or even backed by any reason. I told myself that this dream was wildly controlled by my emotions, and that I must become happy. She transformed from her ghastly state into a girl, a little older than me, dressed in bright colors and sweatpants, with her hair tied back. Something about her screamed preppy and happy.

Although she was not as evil as she had been, she still tried to lure me from my girlfriend. I remember following her to see where the house led. Then I turned to face an open window and saw my girlfriend's one-eyed dog riding a monitor lizard into the window. I was apparently slowly losing lucidity at that point, for, although my mind reeled trying to make sense of how that was happening, I didn't quite catch on to the fact that it was impossible in a normal dream state. I ran from the monitor, fearing its venom, and had time only to enter the next room before I woke up.

I feel as though the sleep paralysis and transition into the dream was much more intense than any dream that I've had since joining the site. I must try that again some time.

Yes. You must. There's nothing else quite like it. Unless your into hallucinogenics.

And once you get more accustomed to it you can actually control how intense you want it to be. You can let it pass by like nothing's happening or encourage a soul shattering experience.

That's an awesome experience! Thank you for sharing!

And some pretty good detail there. I have always found that the more I pay attention to detail the better the dreams are. Others report the same.

I hope you have more of these incredible dreams! It's incredible that brief interruptions to sleep can produce some amazing results for lucid dreams.

Indeed, the mind is a big, and very complicated device capable of amazing things.

Sounds cool. Reminds me of some of my experiences. WILDing is a challenge but can pay off with cool experiences. Keep it up.
