Hey guys, just thought I'd put down my WILD progress so far and see if you guys think I'm doing the right thing.
I've been out of practice with Lucid dreaming as of late with exams, social events and other things distracting me, however I've recently gotten back into it and decided that WILD is an area that I am curious about. I've been attempting WILD for the past three or four nights now with mixed results. The most successful night so far was probably the second night, although I put that down to not being able to sleep the other nights, not any major change in technique, style or luck. I remember going to sleep around normal time and setting my alarm for roughly six hours of sleep (hard to judge on my clock, might have been six and a half hours). I actually woke up just before the alarm went off and turned it off quietly, then decided to sit up and get myself somewhat awake and aware again. After a few minutes of this I decided it was time to try and relax again, so lay on my back ( I normally sleep on my side/front but do not find this uncomfortable).
After what seems like five minutes lying still and letting my brain just shut off my body began to feel heavy and numb and faint orbs of colour began to flash in and out of my vision slowly. My hearing began to slowly switch off and I felt myself slowly sink backwards, partly into the bed and partly back into myself. I passively observed these orbs of colour and then .. well I can't actually remember. I either fell asleep straight away or waited some more and gave up
