Does this count as a WILD?

Just thought I'd mention something the other night that amused me.
I don't think it actually counts as a WILD, but it's still a bit odd.

I was in a non-lucid dream, and I decided to try a WILD. For some reason, sitting upright. But then, it seemed to fail, and I just got up and walked around. I decided to do a reality check just in case the WILD had worked and, because, it was a dream still, I only had 3 fingers. So, I figured my WILD had actually been successful, and the dream became lucid. However, I still thought I had entered the lucid dream from that upright position. I wasn't aware that that all was only a dream. So, when I woke up, I surprised to find myself in bed lol. I knew I was in a dream, but I didn't realise I'd been in a dream the whole time.
Seems like an odd way to be lucid. Like it's layered.

Ha! I have done some in dream WILDs myself. Usually when I fail to WILD and fall asleep. I would call it a DILD.

A WILD by definition involves entering a lucid dream from a waking state. Since you were asleep and dreaming already when you became lucid, it would be impossible for this to be a WILD. It doesn't matter what you are dreaming about, if you become lucid from a dream, it's a DILD.
