I tried doing a WILD a few nights ago from "cold", that is, at bedtime, not in the middle of the night when it's apparently supposed to be the easiest. Anyway, I lay on my back, hands folded across my abdomen, and I lay still and relaxed for about 30 minutes during which time I began to feel as though my body was getting "detached". I could feel my fingers interlocked, but most every other part was beginning to fade away. I can describe the feeling as though my body were tiny. I tied to keep my mind awake, by reminding myself that I will soon be dreaming. But my thoughts seemed too busy, and while my body was relaxed, my mind was fully awake.
Anyway, the question I have is, does the "tiny body" feeling jive with the feelings of a WILD in progress? I never did achieve a lucid dream, and when I tried to move, my limbs were rubbery and hard to move.
