So, sleeping for 5-6 hours, I had to wake up at 5:00AM to go to classes. Once I got to the college, I had some reading to do and some stuff to look up. By this time, it was around 6:30, 7:00 AM. I decided to listen to a trance mp3 I had, but I kept tuning out, so I just switched to regular music. I sat down in a chair trying to get a little shut eye, and I got into a very uncomfortable position. It was the best position out of many, but still very uncomfortable. For reference, I turned to my right side, but my right leg up on the chair like I was in the fetal position, then let my left leg hang over the chair. I put my head on the back of the chair, and put my hands in my sweater pocket. (the chair was a sofa-esque chair, so its not like I was too upset).

Anyway, I listened to music, when I suddenly opened my eyes, and there were people there. I knew I hadn't been asleep that long, and some of these people I knew wouldn't be where I was, so i took my left headphone out of my ear, but I still heard music coming into my left ear. Because of this, I KNEW I was dreaming. I got up, which by the way took a lot of strength, and went over the the bathrooms which looked nothing like they were supposed to, then I woke up. Except I didn'
t really wake up, i just woke up in another dream, exactly where I was. I didn't realize this, and got up, and in doing so, actually woke up. At this point, I realized what i had found, and experimented some more. I laid down in the exact position again, and it happened again. This time, I tried flying, and my will was a bit mroe prominent this time around, letting me o what I wanted, until i got too excited and woke up. This time for real.

After that, I tried again, but only ended up in an actual non-lucid dream.

tl;dr

1: Sleep for 5-6 hours
2: Wake up and stay up for 2 hours
3: Get in a chair that's semi-comfortable.
4: Play some music, o too loud, but not low enough that you need to strain to hear it.
5: Try going to sleep in the chair in a sort of uncomfortable position
6: Close your eyes and just drift off.
7: If you open your eyes again, take an earbud/headphone off and check to see if you're still hearing music. (I don't think you should take both earbuds out, but it might still work)
7a: if you still hear music in the ear that you took the earbud out of, you're dreaming and you can do whatever.
7b: IF you don't hear music and everything seems SNAFU, my lucid dream was nothing more than a lucky break.

I'd like to hear back from you folks, so if it works, give me a comment so I know.
