...if you solve my WILD problem!
I've had but one successful WILD attempt. Since then, I have been stuck in an auditory hallucination "phase."
Let's see if I can describe it.
After waking up and then heading back to sleep, I can tell when I'm about to start having auditory hallucinations (in fact, last night when I woke up briefly, I sad, "here we go!" because I knew for a fact I would start moving into a WILD). To me, these hallucinations sound like an airplane trying to take off underwater.
Well, soon after they start, they become very intense, to the point where my I feel completely consumed by this noise in my head. Typically I try to remain calm, but sometimes it is a bit too much and I begin to lose that momentum, the sound dissipates (almost like the "engine" is dieing down) and then there is nothing.
Seconds after it stops, it will begin again and get back to the point where it is overwhelming.
When the conditions are right for a WILD, I will go through this process five or six times before finally falling asleep. I never seem to be able to transition.
Do I need to wait for the intense noise to stop? Do I just need to remain calm and not get consumed?
HELP! (there is a virtual cookie in it for you). Thanks!
