Thread: Can someone relate, or explain what it was? (Sleep Paralysis)

Hello.

About a year ago I had his incredibly scary dream. I remember it as if I dreamt it yesterday.

What happened in my "dream" was that I fell asleep, but suddenly my eyes were open, and I felt an evil presence down at my feet. I was laying with the right side of my head against the pillow. I couldn't move a muscle. Suddenly I see a hand stretching against my face. As it gets closer my head starts to hurt, like a really bad headache. I try to move as hard as I can but nothing works. The hand is getting closer, almost reaching my forehead. The headache is now so strong that it feels like I can hardly breath. There is also this beep sound that is so loud my head is getting even worse, and it feels like its gonna explode any minute. When the hand is just a few cm away from my forehead I snap out of it and wake up. I sit there watching out in my bedroom, everything is as it should be.

I could not get any sleep after that "dream"

I haven't been writing this anywhere before now, because I didn't know about the lucid dreaming/Sleep Paralysis etc before a short while ago.

Sorry for my bad english, hope for a response from someone that can explain or relate. I have searched the internet for someone dreaming the same as me (as people often experience the same SPs).

And also I have another question. When going into a Lucid dream, one must begin by going through the sleep paralysis? So that means if I want to start learning to get into lucid dreams, that I somehow have to stay calm even though that hand and the headaches hurts more and more? :s
