So, I rather begin and explain the type of sleep paralysis I used to have, for about three and a half years now. It began very frightening, I didn't know what it was and why it was happening to me so suddenly, I woke up totally unable to move and one time I woke up in complete terror hearing bird or some sort of raptor/alien sound behind me, one other time I woke up feeling I had strings holding me down in the bed, about 3 times I felt I was being pushed and held down in the bed. Then I had my first lucid dreams (had one second LD before though) one night about 5 months after the first occurrence of SP, and by this time I had more control over my sleep paralysis, could get out of them whenever I wanted (moving my spine with a lot of effort) and I didn't get hit by complete terror or felt like I was being pushed. Then I slowly realized if I stayed in the sleep paralysis long enough I could go into lucid dreams sometimes, witch made me want to stay in the SP much longer, tough I was almost always afraid of the things I heard around me when being in SP, even if I knew the things I heard wasn't real. I also learned how to get into the SP much ''deeper'', and the trick for me was to repeat the same word as fast as I could in my head, other tricks was to think of something I would otherwise never think about being awake, ridiculous stuff you think about in dreams, or sometimes hold the same vocal like ''aaaaaaaaaaaa'', but repeating the same word always worked the best (if it is any interest, I almost always used the word ''ball'' as it felt the easiest to repeat fast in the head). But going deeper into my SP made the chance of hear hallucinations became more frequent, scarier and more clear, and the risk of phantom pain became higher as well.
Also before going into a SP was always random and always happened when lying on my back, today I can just realize something in a normal dream or have that certain feeling in a dream that I have in my SP and then directly go into the SP, I can also get into SP by lying on my side now and after moving my body and getting out of the SP, I can get right back into it by lying down again from being complete awake.
Tough last week I have been experiencing a new type of SP, that I have to get use to once again. First time, it happened before I went to sleep (right before I was sleeping in fact) and that never really happened to me. I don't have that certain feeling in my head and it doesn't feel like I'm locked in the same way. My face felt like it was some force pushing my face and it felt very real, and at the same time I heard someone laughing in my room (hallucination). I got out of the SP right away as it was all kind of new to me, the hear hallucination felt different now because it wasn't the SP I was used by having. When I lied down again I got right into the SP again with all the same traits, face felt weird and the laughing was louder, it now felt like the character 'Jokers' laugh. I was really afraid I was going to have SP every night not getting the rest I needed. I got out and in of the SP about 4 times, lastly I thought my body was warning me I slept way to long missing work so I looked at my cell phones clock, it was still early and when I lied down again everything was normal again.
3 days later I could not keep awake during the day because I haven't slept for long and I woke about 11 pm. then before going to work I got some sleep during the next day about 6 am (work started 13 pm) So again I got into this new type of SP before I went to sleep and the certain feeling in the head I was used to be having was still gone. This time it felt like my whole body was literally getting crushed being pushed together, the strongest feeling I ever had during any SP. This time I could endure it better and it still felt like I had more control over it, as I got used to the first ''type'' of SP I felt like I could get used to this, even with the crushing feeling. So I stayed in it, but there was not any way getting deeper into it, it was also pretty stable. I experimented with it and some things was just like the other SP, one thing for instance was if I tried to move my limbs it only felt like I was moving them, I wasn't really moving them, and I could open my eyes and other things. First I heard someone snoring above me, then I heard cool music that continued to play for about a minute and then I heard some random stuff. It also felt like I was farting for a long time.
So now when I explained what my SP is kind of about and kinda what my new type of SP is, if anyone have some sort of experience with SP and hopefully someone have kind of the same types of SP I have, I would like to know how to get into a lucid dream from this state. As I said I could not get deeper into the SP this time, and try to meditate but during the circumstances was impossible for me. Read up somewhere that focusing on the eye locks sometimes get you into a LD, and that didn't work. And if you don't have the same kind of SP, if you get into LD from SP like I do, what do you guys do to get into a LD from a SP.
Because the only reason I endure all the SP is because of LDs, and I have had about 100 SP and 30 of them have led to LDs, and I always have most control from WILDs.
