So, after one successful lucid dream/OBE I've been actively trying to have another through WILD after WBTB.

I'm encountering a problem with transitioning from the sleep paralysis stage to entering into a dream. Honestly, I'm not sure how to tell when I've actually reached the dream state. I get to the SP stage pretty easily, where I feel like my body is heavy, mild vibrations, HI, sounds, the feeling of rising and falling, etc... However, nothing is happening after that. I try to wait it out but typically end up falling asleep or totally just waking up (if it is already morning and I'm doing a WBTB). Sometimes I think the HI may be transitioning into an actual dream scene and when that happens I get the rising and falling thing and crash back to my body.

If I get to the point where the waves of vibrations have passed, I have attempted to "roll out" or open my dream eyes. I haven't had success with either of these tactics yet. I end up rolling my real body or opening my real eyes.

Any suggestions on how to make this transition would be greatly appreciated.
