      Trouble with the Transition

So, after one successful lucid dream/OBE I've been actively trying to have another through WILD after WBTB.

I'm encountering a problem with transitioning from the sleep paralysis stage to entering into a dream. Honestly, I'm not sure how to tell when I've actually reached the dream state. I get to the SP stage pretty easily, where I feel like my body is heavy, mild vibrations, HI, sounds, the feeling of rising and falling, etc... However, nothing is happening after that. I try to wait it out but typically end up falling asleep or totally just waking up (if it is already morning and I'm doing a WBTB). Sometimes I think the HI may be transitioning into an actual dream scene and when that happens I get the rising and falling thing and crash back to my body.

If I get to the point where the waves of vibrations have passed, I have attempted to "roll out" or open my dream eyes. I haven't had success with either of these tactics yet. I end up rolling my real body or opening my real eyes.

Any suggestions on how to make this transition would be greatly appreciated.

      Hi,

first, i'm gonna point out, that vibrations are not SP. http://www.dreamviews.com/wake-initi...mystified.html

Vibrations can be one of the possible sensations we get when falling asleep. And if you get them at the right time, dream may be nearby and you may be able to enter it lucidly.

Here is something about different sensations and how to use them to enter LD http://www.dreamviews.com/wake-initi...ntry-wild.html
And here is sageouse's wild tutorial that's worth a read . Good luck

I have only got to do this once and what I did was breath through my mouth when it was closed. It worked great because I tried it about 10 times before I was asleep and it doesn't really break your relaxation if you failed like opening your eyes might.

Ah, I see. You have moved your physical body. Try and practice rolling over during day. But don't use your muscles. Direct your body to move only mentally. Give command to move, but don't engage your muscles.

You can also try to give command to see your hands. If yu are asleep, your dream hands will come up into your view. If you are still awake, they won't move.

Or levitating yourself out of the body can be used as motionless RC. If you get out, you are dreaming.
