      WILD TUTORIAL (sleeping consciouslly)

BEFORE starting you must first know of our friends, the brainwaves, its basically the frequency of our current mind mood, when theres a lot of activity in the brain like while awake doing any fisical activity its frequency gets up on beta (13-30 cycles per second), when relaxed but awake slows down to Alpha Brain Waves (8 to 12 cycles per second)
when you get really relaxed and your mind is calm, like when meditating, or when you first go to bed, and just vanish in your toughs while relaxing it gets to Theta (4 to 8 cycles per second),
when you hit the ground of unconciousness deep sleep but dreaming less it gets to its lowest freq, Delta(0.5 to 4 cycles per second)
though dreams dont occour in delta! they occour back in Alpha and Beta, at some point concioussness bounces from the cero point, up to a higher frecuency

meditating helps understanding the mind by yourself and how it feels to get deeper and deeper to the different stages of conciousness, you can also find binaural beats for free on the internet to get an idea of how it feels

in this tutorial we are going to base ourselfs on these frequencies, since they are all the similar for every one! just the way they feel, and time they happen may vary, but the process is the same its just SLEEPING

      now finally:

      CONSCIOUS SLEEPING TUTORIAL

when to performance: perfect for wbtb, or when really sleepy at night, don't force it to happen, sometimes your body will just tell by itself when it really wants to sleep, afternoon naps are also good, just be sure you are sleepy

important note: its really important for you to understand this stages instead of just memorise it, while performing, dont think about the process, neither the past stages or in the next stages, focus on the stage you are at

even if you don't get to the dream, you will probably get a nice experience

BETA: if you are too wake, its time to slow it down, let your mind think for the last time of your day time problems, delta is the waking state, we want anything but that, delta it feels just like being alert, is the brain mood for fisical activity or problem solving
your body can be really tired but your mind can be as awake as delta, just start breathing slowly but naturally while laying in any position and let your toughs flow out, and as you breath feel your body relaxing and feeling confortable, focus on whats happening in you mind while doing this, till we move to the next stage

      ALPHA:
if you did WBTB you are probably alredy in this stage, or lower, in case you feel all dizzy and sort of unconciouss, do a few simple math problems to stay lucid before going to sleep, if you came here from DELTA, just enjoy the natural process of relaxation, fallow that feeling in your chest that you feel when sleepy, feel confortable, and dont think to much about the process, just be fully aware of the stage you are at
just relax and keep letting your self go, feel yourself as your mind, and don't think about your body, this stage is for relaxing and watching ourself going deeper, be sure to keep your mind in that level, if you start thinking about daytime problems, you will probably wake your self more, just relax and let your breathing go slower and slower

THETA: probably the stage where hypnotic hallucinations happen, at this point, you should alredy stop thinking about your body, just marge in your mind and its infinity, be prepare to any possibilities, dont scare your self when you see any faces, or if you think you hear something, enjoy the whole process
at this point you will feel your self as your mind, but should be really calmed, do not make notes on what you see or feel, just be aware of the state, nothing more! remember your brain activity must be calm, don't let your toughs control you, feel yourself separated from your mind like a silent visitor that doesnt want to get noticed a dream ninja, no dreams will show up yet, just let your self go trough this stage, whit the minimal sence of self toughs
but aware of the silence, forget about this tutorial, you are just sleeping, it happens every night

DELTA: if you are conscious enough you will feel it happen, it feels like total silence, the feeling is indescribable you feel like inside a black vortex, and oneness with you, you are your mind, and your mind doesn't have limits like your body, PLEASE don't think about the body in this stage, all you have to do is to be aware of the stage, without puting any toughs on it, seriously no thinking(not even thinking about not thinking!) observe the blackness and feel your self like floating in space(it does feel like floating around), a black space where nothing can be seen, hallucinations are normal in this stage just concentrate and get back to the cero point! just the awareness of being unconscious
depending on the correct timing your time in this stage will vary, if you got here from the first time sleeping at night, you might get neither stuck here for a time, or really never get to the bounce and fall asleep, if you did wbtb and the timing is right we move to the next stage

      THE BOUNCE: :yumdumdoodledum:
IT happens alone naturally, so dont force it, delta state is like the gate to dreaming, if you pass trough it your brainwaves will increase up to alpha/beta but this time in the dream state, this is where vibrations take place, and all that rush people talk about is just your frequency getting higher, but since you are now experiencing it from inside your mind its way much noticeable, you will hear a high pitch getting higher, or feel a lot of energy through you dream body, most of all i feel like in a rush fowards, by now your mind will blow out 3d imagery, noises and the feeling of gravity, get along with it, dont fight it any bit, all you have to do is to conciouslly get trough it, its important to have your mind open to any dream that might happen, any situation you might appear in, or any place you will be on will be a dream, be intuitive and expect the dream, relate the imagery to a full scenario, and the noises to the background, make it stable, but dont force it, prepare you body to be in any position, its now ok to think about whats happening but dont loose yourself in your toughs
by the time an scenario will appear with you almost loosing awareness of how you got there, if you maintained a bit of lucidity you might have the chance to recognize inmidiatly you are dreaming, or maybe just doubt about how you got there, this is where reality checks are important,
if you fall into a unconsciouss dream don't get mad, you actually did it good! WILDS are never accurated (thats right), sometimes you are just lucky to do it right, it deppens on the right timming and the effort you put on it

WILD is a skill remember! it takes time to understand it, but as you get experience you will master it

you can mix this tutorial with your favorite current tutorial, play with it, and learn by your self

      happy lucid dreams!

I have two problems with WILD.

      1. I am never relaxed enough to do a WILD during any WBTB. (except for once but I don't remember how)
      2. I am always reminded of my body, and as a result, nothing ever happens.

      i always had those problems!

maybe you are trying to get to bed to fast, when i do WTB i stay awake for a while do my morning things, small snack, drink water, use the laptop a little bit, though i don't recommend playing video games they wake up your brain too much
stay relax till you feel like sleeping again, remember it all must happen naturally, it can also be the time, try waking up 30-1hr earlier

as for the body it can be hard to ignore it, just focus your mind on your breathing, and as i said on everything that is happening inside your mind, we usually keep reminding our body as a natural response to not be exposed to predators, just talk to yourself and let your self know that is ok to let go now, mantras work fine
keep your mind busy on inhaling, and exhaling ,and relaxing more and more each time, play with the feeling too keep your mind busy i love thinking im sinking in the water while doing this, or floating in space, when you get toughs about the outside world just relax and get back on what you were doing like if nothing happened, dont force it to go

by the time an scenario will appear with you almost loosing awareness of how you got there
I've been starting to notice this more recently. Once with a DEILD where I got lucid quickly, once where I stayed non-lucid, both this month. I find myself suddenly observing a scene, "standing" quietly, with a slight feeling of confusion/discontinuity, then I start thinking about the scene.

Never though with classical WILD -- I have yet to get through the "noise" and into the dream, except one time several months ago, I hold on to awareness too tightly when the sensations begin. For me, I need to learn to completely mentally "let go" at that stage and hope I have enough awareness left when the dream begins. The one time it worked for me that's what happened, I was so tired of doing the WILD I just "let go" and next thing I knew I saw a scene form and I was looking at it and I realized I was dreaming. Woke up immediately unfortunately.
