You probably woke up due to strong emotion (perhaps you became too excited about being in a lucid dream?) or a lack of stabilisation. Next time you become lucid, rather than trying to fly immediately, take some time to calm down and stabilise the dream. This can be done by rubbing your hands together vigorously or spinning around. It can also be achieved by engaging yourself with the environment, touch stuff, taste stuff et cetera. |
