      First WILD attempt

I woke up after 5.5 hours of sleep, made the intention that I wanted to try and WILD. So i attempted to WILD. I really could not get comfy at all, tossing and turning so what I do is lie on my back with my hands on my palm and do a tiny progressive relaxation. it worked!! I then decided on a anchor, 'dream boat' I left repeating this to myself and felt my body come more relaxed, i started to feel vibrations, i carried on and kept changing my anchor to sleep boat or dream boat. My body felt like it was bouncing up and down a little. At first it startled me but then i started to enjoy the feeling and it became pleasent. As i carried on little stars, colours shapes andv aces started to appear and maybe a little scene showed it, i think but it was faded into the blackness. Carrying on still i started to feel electric shocks!! They came at random times..... I felt myself go deeper and deeper, my breathing started to become heavy which started to become a problem, but i still carries on... My body was intense with vibrations it felt like my head was moving a little, i decided to just stop....

Even though i was not successfull, i enjoyed the experience and the sensations

      Hey there,

I've often experienced the same. I actually think it's the sensation of your body going to sleep that you're experiencing. As a kid, I used to image my bed started floating over these beautiful landscapes whenever I got to that state, which then gently rocked me to sleep. However, these days, when trying to WILD, those very sensations tend to keep me awake. I hope you have better luck with them!

For a first try that sound pretty impressive! I have been trying for weeks and have never yet got any real vibrations, and not yet entered a lucid dream or OBE. Keep trying I'm sure you will succeed quickly!

The only real problem after a failed WILD is Insomnia.

I always drift off to sleep during a WILD, which is sort of the right idea I think but I never stay conscious into a dream. Maybe you got yourself too hyped up with all those sensations!

The one thing people keep stressing about WILDing is that everyone is different. It really does sound as if you are on the right track, so maybe if you keep trying you will get used to the sensations and relax into it enough to be able to not get hyped by it. Good luck.
