      Issue after transition

I had maybe 1 or 2 lucid dreams which were DILDs in the past.Yesterday i had my first WILD.After the transition i had no idea how to enter the dream.I was lying in bed and i said ok i should open my eyes.In my previous LDs closing and opening my eyes resulted in me opening my real eyes.Same thing happened yesterday i opened my real eyes and woke up...How can i resolve this?

You can do a RC just to make sure you're in that dream, but you don't even have to 'open' your eyes, you can just think about if you want... After all it is a lucid dream, you can do anything.

Lucid dreams make your dreams come true!!

Haha yup, I missed a few opportunities to be in a dream, because I didn't know how to enter one, even after one formed around me. Check this out http://www.dreamviews.com/wake-initi...into-wild.html

But the quick answer is "stand up or roll out of your bed"

Cool thread Gab, i really liked the idea with the hood blocking my vision or wearing glasses :p, i am gonna try to apply any of the techniques next time. The motionless RC also seems to be very reliable. And in my case might be my way of entering the dream. My transition was like you described.I felt intense vibrations and the buzzing sound got louder and after a while it stopped.I also felt like moving my legs or something i cant recall.

I tried again today and once i reached the buzzing-vibration stage the HH were so intense that made me stop.First my lower back started to hurt it was like a pressure and then i felt my cat biting my toes at the end of my bed and i thought it was real so i stopped my attempt.I got up and realised my cat was not even in the room.Damn the HH was so real...

These phantom sensations are very common during WILD attempts and can really throw one off. Be sure that before your WILD attempt that all potential avenues of annoyance are dealt with, I make sure to turn off my phone (phantom phones can be a problem), lock my door (to detour wondering cats), and let any one around know I should not be bothered for several hours. This way I know that any random sensations are a by product of me being near the dream state and not real and so should be ignored.
