I'm kind of at loss. There's a certain point when I attempt WILD naps that I can't pass. I'm curious if anyone can point out any mistakes I've made, or if anyone can give me some advice.
Anyways, so I decided to attempt a WILD nap since I was feeling quite tired. The first bit of it is a piece of cake. I lay down in a comfortable position. I took a few deep breaths to slow my breathing and let my mind go. I start to visualize random things. This is working very well, I'm very relaxed. I lose all track of noises and activity outside. I visualize something and it gets more and more realistic, until my mind jolts a little and moves on to another thought.
But then, I get a random abrupt vibration. It literally jolts me awake. I mean, I didn't sit up or anything, but my visualization has just gone to trash. I'm not excited or anything, I know that's supposed to happen in SP. But this jolt that I always encounter just throws it to the trash. At first I see a very vivid image of my room, and I try to hang on to it, but it just fades. Now my mind is fairly awake again. I can hear all the sounds outside, and i know I'm not dreaming. I feel numb all over and occasionally feel a wave of numbness go over me. When I try to visualize something, it will last for a split second and then I will be distracted or jolted awake again. Eventually I just give up because nothing is happening, I'm too awake.
Basically, my question is really what do I do after those vibrations? I have it every time and they're the only thing keeping me from going further. I try to ignore them, but they jolt my mind so that it is awake again. Can anyone give me some advice please?
