I'm not an expert at WILD. I don't even practice this method at all, but sometimes run into it early in the morning after a brief disturbance in sleep causing me to wake up! To me, it is a little scary which is why I don't practice it much. What I've encountered is SP and strange static like noise. The main thing I believe when this happens is to NOT fight it but go WITH it. Let it happen, it won't last long if you don't resist it. But for me, once I hit SP, I almost always force myself to WAKE UP. It's tough, your eyes are glued shut and you have to struggle but it's possible to wake yourself up if you don't like it or it frightens you. If you don't want to WILD - I'd stick with DILD and MILD and practice mantras before you fall asleep! Those have always helped me have great lucids without the scary SP side effect of WILDing. |

you could see, feel or hear pretty much anything while WILDing, just dont be afraid of it. As for DILD, I do a reality check every time I pass through a doorway or read some text (hope it starts working soon, I also do WILD every night but I end up thinking its FA but I a still awake and lots of effort wasted for nothing |

Not bad, there are a ton of different sensations people feel, but none of them are really strong or painful. Don't think of scary things or watch them before trying this, or you could have a few scaryish feelings. |

Yeah i'm going to try watching a feel good movie on my iPod before i doze off to sleep and try WILD'ing. Maybe that'll stop that old hag from appearing >.< |

Feels like an orgasm to me, but hey - to each there own, eh? |
