      Look ⚘

At the (6:00 - 6:22) point of this 11 minute Youtube

      She says:

      Years later
when I was doing the worlds first doctoral research
      into Lucid Dreaming
      as a creative writing tool
there was a moment when I found myself
up on stage in front of a packed auditorium.

And I'd just given a talk
      in which I described
how I was doing my Phd. research
      while asleep
      in my Lucid Dreams. (6:22)

Gab, I see that you are in a experiments with strange substances, so I will recommend you some combination. Try Singulair(singulair.com), his mine action is for allergies, but gives amazing dreams as side effect. If you combine one pill of him with 50mg b1,100mg b6,250mcg b12 at night your dreams will become truly alienware ;)

Thanks gab. Do you mean you turna round with your eyes closed and imagine seeing it? Sometimes when I am in a lucid mood I open doors in my house pretending to expect to see something dreamish on the other side.

      Thank you, charles.

I have not worked on my dream skills at all. Other than reading posts from others. I guess my subC was paying attention and it gives me strength in dreams before I even realize I need it. I love my subC.

I'm realizing, that believing what you can do is very powerful. So if during day I read an article saying that all evil can be banished by simply projecting love, I go "oh, that may come handy'" and then it happens in my dream, it actually works.

And just to ad to my dream. I did feel powerful, but also humble. I never thought about retaliating. I didn't even laugh at him for losing his powers so stupidly. I was just happy that I can help others and that the bad entity can't harm anybody no more.

Just remembered, I did practice some dream stuff during day. Like turning around and seeing a place you wanted to see in your lucid. To get some kind of a muscle/brain memory.

Wow thats cool about feeling powerful in the dream. I read another one of your dreams a while back and you sound like you have a lot of dream skills. I don't have that many dream skills but I guess it takes time?

Charlie Chaplin movies are old but its really funny to watch him act in them without words. He was a great actor in his time. Lol Big pink bunnies. That's funny cause I didn't expect it but it would be cute to see them in a parade.

So weird you brought up GTA! Haven't played this myself but my bf has been playing this for the last week or so .

The first example of the GTA bug reminds me of the movie 13th floor where the city turns into an unfinished graphic at the city outskirts.

I was wondering how often do you play such games. Been recently looking into research that RPG games stimulate the visual cortex and increase brain thickness, so these could be quite helpful for us lders.

Recently due to a lot of nasty factors (think work and stress) my dreams have become poorer in visual stimuli, so I think this may be a solution to help restore the 3D perception of the world. It could make lds better too.

Sometimes I can see to the distance, even without any effort or thinking/wishing to see it.

But sometimes, it's like I'm in a room with black walls. Only there are no walls, just a very abrupt end to the place where I am. And I only see what's in the room. There was a glitch in one of the Grand Theft Auto games. You can fall through the roof and fall down to small section of the city. You walk around, there are houses and streets. But you can see the end of this area. Literally the rest of the place was not made yet by the programmers. That's how I feel in some of my lucids.

And yeah, thats interesting, how we bring into existence places just by looking at them, and they disappear when we stop looking. I will mention a video game again, and it's GTA again, haha. To do one particular task, the game gives you a tank. After this task is over, you are not suppose to be able to keep this tank. You have it only for that task. But someone figured out, that if you keep this tank in front of you, never letting your eyes off of it, you can somehow push it to your save spot and save the game, so when you restart, you have the tank. But as soon as you turn away, it will disappear, haha.

So much fun to notice all these little strange things in lucids.

I have noticed something interesting about my dreams, but mostly about lucid dreams. Sometimes I can't see far. (Sometimes yes, with binocular vision, or without it). But it can happen, that I only see my immediate surroundings. Rest is like black walls. As if I was on the set and that's the only place. Behind it is just walls and something else, but not the dream scene.
That's an interesting observation. So, in your lucids do you consciously try to look ahead and then see the distance dark or blurry, or is it more that you are looking around you and the background seems non-existent? In a way, background is indeed non-existent, as our mind assembles only what we focus on.

I would expect that if one would focus enough on the distance ahead, that which is close to us will gradually disappear too! Maybe you get transported to the mountains and then the background becomes the foreground .
