      When to end WILD?

I am not sure if this has been asked already, but to me it's unclear when a WILD is 'finished' (unless you are certainly in the dream).
I heard about people opening their eyes during HI and vibrations and going into a dream, and some say it needs to disappear, while others say the HI will 'transfer' into the dream.
Now I know that HI is not important, and the vibrations are no more than distractions, but to me I just don't know if I'm doing it right.

      Example:
With a very gentle alarm (I am still practicing being concious of natural waking during the night) I wake up. I get a sip of water from the tap and sit on my bed
with my back against the wall (I have an elevated bed). For 30 minutes I say "I'll have a lucid dream by WILD". After this I get another sip because my mouth is
dry from repeating the sentence and I go to sleep. After fully relaxing I breathe slowly and repeat to myself "Calm, stabilize, control." (I chose this because I need to
focus more on a calm transition and stabilization than just getting over-excited and run around like mad).

Now, I felt some tingles and saw some vague blurry swatches of color passing by but I don't think anything changed...
Knowing that not all WILDs have this, I stay still for longer, but nothing happens after that. After quite some more minutes I turn around to my side and
      sleep normally.

      Something striking anyone as odd?

You're not going to master the rest of your life in one day. Just relax. Master the day. Then just keep doing that every day.

I don't find that odd. That happened to me also, when i'm close to WILD but it goes away.

About knowing when WILD ended or opening your eyes:
Why open your eyes? When you enter a dream, your dream eyes will be already open.
What i do is just wait for an identifiable image to appear. Like this week, i was feeling vibrations and all and some lights. But i lay still because i was not in a dream yet. With my real eyes shut, i started to see my bedroom with some weird furniture. When this image was clear, i knew i was inside the dream. Then, slowly i started to get up my bed (in the dream).
I never thought about opening my eyes. They "opened" automaticaly in the dream.

This sounds like a one time experience for you. Am I right?

If so, no worries. Every attempt is different. All you need to do is to fall asleep while keeping your mind alert with mantras.

WILD is not suppose to work on first try. I'm sure you are doing it right, but you could refresh your memory by reading WILD and WILD

also, something about different ways of entering a WILD, Hw to know when to enter the dream and how http://www.dreamviews.com/wake-initi...into-wild.html

      1. basically, you can see a dream and you wish yourself inside or let it envelope you
      2. you experience vibrations, falling, flying, or any other sensation - when it's over, there is a good chance you are in a dream already - stand up or roll out
      3. you will see your room around you, again stand up or roll out

Sometimes you not sure if you in a dream yet, or you are 100% sure you are not in a dream. Dont let that fool you. You can make a leap of faith and stand up, or try some motionless RC first. http://www.dreamviews.com/induction-...hecks-rcs.html

      Happy dreams
