Thread: Controversial art request.

Why is my request controversial? The person taking this task should at least be open minded to shared dreams or dream telepathy. I am looking for a person who can draw anime style... but regular style is ok as well.

Basically, I send one of my recurring characters to your dreams. and when you feel you have dreamed of this character... you draw them. The drawing will be used as a basis for cover art on a book I want to self publish based on dreams.

I'm not looking for a debate in this thread... I am only interested in people willing to give this a try. you can reply or PM me if interested.

That sounds like a great idea. Im okay at drawing but I'm still not that great at drawing anime.

Just write the character description here and see what people can make of it. Can't say I'm a fan of those two subjects, but making myself dream of a person with certain characteristics shouldn't be a problem.

well the character has a very distinct face... it would be hard to get unless you can see what I'm talking about. but if you think you can dream this person... do you have any art on the internet marvo? a portfolio i can look at?

as a backup. if you had someone good at drawing in front of you and they started sketching a face, and you're like "nose too big, more furrowed brow, deeper eye sockets etc" you could probably get it. how police sketches work basically.

Haha no, not really, I'm mostly a photographer. I can see how getting the face right would be difficult. I imagined the person you had in your mind was more of a type, rather than an individual.

If you can make me dream of a specific character, I'll draw it.

Is it a friendly dream character? I get scared and spooked easily, even when I am lucid. So uh, as long as its a friendly dream character I'd like to give it a try!

Keep in mind though, everyone on the forum could do this for you and all of them could turn out not looking exactly as you would like it to.

Any info that you think I need; I'm okay with lots or none even.
