      Did I WILD or DILD?

My first lucid dream - Dream Journals - Dreamviews Lucid Dreaming Community & Resource

I'm unsure how I got in to this dream. I don't remember falling asleep, so it could be a DILD, but do you remember what happens during your WILDs? I want to confirm what I did.

WILDs usually don't happen by accident. If you don't remember attaining lucidity chances are it happened while you were already asleep. I'd say it's a DILD.

Sorry to bump this, but I really have to know so that I can repeat this method as it worked. Was it a DEILD?

I was in another dream about tables, then went lucid for a few seconds and woke up. I knew what happened so I closed my eyes to go back to the dream and went completely lucid.

Definitely a DILD as you used dream signs within the dream environment to become lucid. It's very possible that you DEILD'd for the second lucid dream, especially as your methods for doing so were identical. Either way, in isolation they are both dream induced. Well done!

Btw, I live in Bournemouth too! Good to know I'm not the only one around here who LDs!

Oh, sweet. I'm in ensbury park, near west/east howe. I'm 100% sure the first dreamlet was DILD, but the second part confused me. I've only had that one lucid dream and I'm desperate for another. I sleep from any time from 10:30PM-1:30AM to 7-7:30:AM in the morning. MILD doesn't seem to work. What method is best for me?

I'm not the most experienced person on this forum but I've read up a lot so I'll try and dispense a little bit of advice!

I'd recommend you sleep at 11.30 til 7.30 as regularly as possible, 8 hours regular sleep is a pretty important factor when trying to LD.

When it comes to technique, you can always stick with DILD as a backup as this obviously needs no real preparation, only reality checking during the day and looking for dream signs. Other than that I'd stick to WILD and possibly WBTB when doing it. If you keep to the sleep schedule above and wake yourself up briefly at 5.30 each morning, your chances of LDing will probably be a lot higher. But it's different for different people, give each technique a try and see what works for you

I suppose DILD I should use, however I'm not a person who likes to rely on things. I'll have to I suppose. The reaseon being I can't sleep over 7:30 because I need time to prepare and get to school by 8:20. I've tried:
DILD (only technique that's worked, but it only worked once)
      MILD
WILD (this is the method I'm practicing at the moment as I've only tried it about 3 times)
FILD (made a shammy attempt after waking up too early today)
      DEILD (yet to see)
