Should have post this a long time ago

      I can't take it anymore
Im not the whiny guy and post hate stuff like "it's too hard i hate this, this is stupid, etc" so hear me out =x.

Since Oct. 21st i started Lucid, and at Oct. 23rd (3 days after) i got my first lucid, and again at Oct. 25th. 2010 ofcourse.

And till now i have been trying to attain lucid dreaming again, it's about 2 months now.
I do researches, im not a slacker or a lazy guy who doesn't look for help/resources.
I've taken tips and tricks about attaining it, watch videos about it.
Conclusion: It hasn't help me, i think there's too much information and method that i get confuse on what i should actually do.

So what im asking is, give me good/definite way to get lucid, not just the method, but all the things that i should do to get it started.
I know it's generalizing, but im hopeless. I dont know what reality check should i do, what should i visualize or say before i sleep, what mp3 the method, etc.

If anyone's interested i do have a Word Document Dream Journal, if that's any use.
Feel free to ask questions to get a better understanding about my current state.

lucid dreaming is a natural thing for our brain, there is no need to force or feel like you NEED to LD. the feeling should be more of an expectation.
I would say, start from nothing. Just do as much dream recall as possible and then add MILD. The feelings of expectation must be strong. Remember your dreams and how they feel, use that feeling before you sleep to tell yourself you will be lucid. Do that and maybe some WBTB or WILD. No pressure, no force, just expectation and flow.
Also buy stephen laberge's book on lucid dreaming, it has the ultimate beginners guide.

Of course you get confused, there are only two ways to get lucid, and several sub-forms, DILD and WILD are the only ones. Anyway, what RC, what mantra or stuff like that, you will have to choose yourself, it is different for everyone, so it isn't that you are doing it wrong, it is that you need to find your own path.

Generally, people do the nose-pinch, since it rarely fails for most, also using the DJ to get more accustomed to your own dreams and be more aware of them is good, that is of course, for DILD. For WILD WBTB is a good option, now you could try either DEILD, where you enter right after waking up and doesn't involves much SP, just not opening your eyes and trying to fall back as fast as possible or the normal one, generally I suggest the visual variation, where you imagine an scenario once in SP to enter that scenario once the WILD is succesful.

I would suggest practicing awareness/ detachment, meaning, always carry an underlying feeling with you which questions how you arrived somewhere, why a strange event just happened, ect. Also, you should not be discouraged if you began learning at the end of October. I have been practicing since April of this year and I would say only about 30- 40% of the time do I catch a totally bizarre event in a dream and become lucid.

I would suggest the nose RC because it seems the simplest. You can also do it in the dark to catch false awakenings. Few things beat the feeling of having a sudden burst of awareness, trying the nose RC, and breathing through your pinched nose.

Visualizing is something that I am not very good at, so no advice there.

Also I don't know much about MP3s, other than you should try binuarl beats for a WILD. I think all but 1 or 2 of my LDs have been from DILDs.

Last, keep with your dream journal. Write as much detail as you possibly can so your brain will become more experienced at remembering them. Then you will remember them more often.

I was doing nose pinching for a few weeks now, i usually do 20 a day (yes by memory of needing to do it, the time interval between nose pinching varies) No luck, i also have a good DJ imo, standard.
I think my problem is the visualize, expectancy of lucid dream each time i go to sleep. (or maybe my sleeping schedule and waking up).
      IDK xD

But anyhow, the replies really helped my spirit up, thx you guys.
I will take the advice and tips.

I get such a high off of that, it is amazing when you relize how oblivious you were to the fact that you were in a Dream (it scares me sometimes ).

If you stress out about having them it will really hinder your ability to. I would suggest that you stop trying to LD for a week or two, continue keeping your DJ but don't get so impatient about it. I think that if you clear your mind and don't worry about it so much, it will definitely happen

I feel for you Omni. I don't have the exact same problem, my lucidity is frequent enough for someone at my level and its improving. My problem is i haven't had much luck controlling my dreams at all. Im beginning to get frustrated myself, only advice I can give is calm down, relax, meditate if you like, and just let it come in its own time.

      Good luck man

      HAHAHAHAHAHAHA OMFG guys.
I just had a lucid dream today! after 2 months, and after a day after this post!
Is this a miracle, luck, coincidence? IDK but omg im like so surprised!

      But im 5% uncertain xD
      Heres how it went down.
Went to sleep at ~3:50 in the morning
Woke up ~2 hours later due to alarm clock (was so tired, stayed up idk what time but i know it was around 2 hr) and went to shut it off after a minute of it rining, couldn't sleep with it rining.
Back to sleep instantly, and then somewhere around that time till 10:45 i encouter a lucid dream.

      I dont remember it 100% but i'd say 90%.
I was dreaming, and apparently i realized that i was dreaming because i questioned something about the dream, and i did a nose pinch immediately. And then i woke up, and was lucid and was excited and did a spin immediately, but it was too late, the dream kicked me out.

      Was it lucid?
It was the first thing i remember and the only dream i remembered after waking up! (im posting this 10m after waking up).

BTW thank you again you guys, i really think your advice kinda help, im not joking!
The "expectancy", before i sleep ~3:50, i was thinking "i dont need, im not going to try for it, im just going to let it come, i know it" somethin like that. And in my head i was thinking about myself lucid, and that i should/would spin after i did (which i did in the dream).
And throughout yesterday, i made some thinking about" is this a dream in real life" and whether some event that i as in a dream or not.
I did 2 things that you guys said!
      But weird thing was.
I did't think i put any effort into it...i just let it played out, just expectancy and some simple visualization and thinking.
      1/5 effort.
BTW is it possible to get kicked out a dream like i did, like immediately with just the thought of excitement and not the "magical things coming true/possible"

Shit...are you kidding me? Excitement is a dreamer's worst enemy. It'll wake you up every time until you learn to relax and master it.

Oh my god...i think just did it again today i think lmao...
Yesterday and today, for the first time, i spotted something in the dream that made me lucid (realizing it was a dream).
But this dream i knew i was dreaming cuz i saw creatures from a game and i questioned it, and i was going to do reality check but i felt like i was falling/tripping.Then i woke up and notice that i was in semi-sleep paralysis, i knew i was somewhat in sleep paralysis (first time) and i didn't want it to happen so i fought it (wasn't hard) and woke up, gettin out of that SP (kinda). I tried getting up and moving my hand, etc.
