      Exclamation Dropping Lucid Dream

      Hey everyone!,

Xiper here. Life has been keeping me from lucid dreaming but NO MORE! So im back and just as happy as every to see dreamviews again.

Any way, I come back with a problem... For the last 5 lucid dreams I have not made it out of the simi-lucid stage. I do a RC, find that im dreaming, then try to rub my hands together to clear up my dream but right after doing so my dream drops! Either I just open my eyes or it crashes like a program... stoping, crashing, and ending.

I know for a fact that I am not over excited... infact my first thoughts are "Ok dreaming, lets just clear it up and..." then nothing.

      Any help would be great

      Hey, welcome back Xiper!

You must be doing something right, because you're at the point where you're vaguely aware that you're dreaming but don't really "act" on it. Work more on awareness and do a few more reality checks, really questioning if you're dreaming or not. I'm guessing that's what you've been doing, so simply work on it more. Or, you might be using a different method.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Wow, sounds like me. Been having this problem as well (Well, I did until now I have just been in a dry spell). When the dream crashes are you fully awake (as in unable to fall back asleep for a few minutes)? If not, you could try "chaining" into another dream by keeping your eyes closed, lying still, and letting the next dream form. Just a thought. Also, make sure it isn't a false awakening.

Anyway, welcome back and I wish you luck!

      Thanks!,

I always have the idea that it might be a false awakening but never act on it by doing another RC. As for falling back asleep, I either fall back asleep to quick or nothing happens when I try to drop into another dream. Its to much like a WILD lol and I have a vary VARY (V.A.R.Y) hard time wilding lol
