I know people have already said this, but I don't know if people have made a thread about it (or at least recently). Just put a piece of paper on the ceiling above your bed that says "reality check" or something of the sort, you can put on the ceiling, a wall next to your bed, or any wall that can be seen clearly from your place of sleeping. False awakenings are free lucid dreams, and to most people they happen usually (at least) once a week, we just don't notice them. I usually remember them when it's too late, let's say I have FA and I move my phone, I wake up in the morning and my phone is in the same place-you just missed a free lucid. I actually had a FA last night because my room was setup differently in the FA. This is mostly for people new to lucid dreaming, because most people experienced know to practice RC's every time they wake up (I try to do that, but usually forget) but with this sign, it makes it so easy, all you have to do is glance up. And if it doesn't appear in the FA, then you know something is wrong if you are conditioned to seeing this.
I'm sorry if I sound newbish or anything, I just think it is a pretty good/easy idea, for anyone Tell me how it goes if you do this.
Just get a piece of paper and a sharpie and some tape and you're good to go
