      Important Realization For Me

I just realized something about my habits in attaining lucidity. I've just been thinking so much about what gives me lucid dreams. First I realized that most of the lucid dreams I've had were during the summer, but why? I didn't necessarily do more reality checks, and I wasn't necessarily more conscious, or eat more bananas, or partake in any other daily routine for lucid dreaming.

It's all about one thing: sleeping in.

I've realized recently that like 90% of my lucid dreams occur when I sleep in. A lot of times when I'm pretty sure I'm done sleeping, but I'm too lazy to get up, I'll find myself in a lucid dream. I practically never have lucid dreams mornings that I have school, or other morning activities.

Is this the case for you guys? If so this might be really important for increasing the consistency of lucid dreaming for some people.

      please reply.
The Key is to combine your waking rational abilities with the infinite possibilities of your dreams, because if you can do that, you can do anything.

This would be similar to a WILD... if you wake up, don't feel like getting up, and go back to sleep you are for all intents and purposes emulating a Wake Initiated Lucid Dream technique.

Yea I agree. I first learned to lucid dream by sleeping in really late. Now days all of my lucids are in the last two hours of sleep. In EWOLD Laberge states that if you sleep 8 hours a night, you are twice as likely to become lucid in the last 2 hours than you were in the first six. It may simply be because your REM periods get longer, but it also might have to do with the fact that your brain is ready to wake up and slightly more aware.

I find I dream more and my dream recall is better when I get more sleep. I've noticed that in the summer i lucid dream twice as much too.
