      Bananas are very effective.

If you don't take caffeine on a regular basis, then caffeine at least a few hours before bed increases lucidity as well.

Where do you get this? I was always told that caffeine hurts dream recall.

Caffeine is good if you're already sleepy and the caffeine isn't going to keep you up.

They say cheese right before bed is also good (for vivid dreams). So is egg.

My personal experience has been that eating lot of meat at dinner time tends to give long vivid dreams.

A lot of people say that Vitamin B6, Melatonin, Galantamine+Choline, 5-HTP, and even Calea Zacatechichi are also supposed to be good for lucid dreaming but I've never found any to be very effective at all (I tried them all).

I also read apple juice before bed is good.

well nothing can gain you lucidity but your mind. foods and suppliments cant promote the vividness and duration of your dream but at the end of the day you need to realise your dreaming to be lucid, and that realisation can only come from your sub conciouse memory which then activates your conciouse mind.

also if you want the best thing that promote your dreams buy a good protein powder as it has all the neccesary ingridients (vitamines, proteins, caffine etc)for a completly vivid and long dream and it is also very good for you

Yes but increased vividness is directly related to LDs as the more vivid the dream is the easier it will be to notice dream signs

Yeah, I agree with this. I think that the title should be changed.

Oh yeah I know what your saying.

Caffeine always hurts my recall but I can see how it would help with LD. Interesting.
