      Question Mistakes with my WBTB WILD attempts.

      Hey DV,


      Most time in the night i wake up at 4:30 to 5:00 in the morning and i try to do a WBTB WILD. Once i wake up i got to the bathroom get some water and do some math problems (to stir up my mind even though i hate math) i also would read a magazine or look at something on the computer. Anyways that would be like 30 mins of being awake after i woke up. i go to my bed to try a WBTB. I lay down with out moving, most of the times i get into SP but i never seem to get any farther with out falling asleep :/. Any advice to help me? Im planning to try it tonight and i havent had a successful WILD yet and im exited to have my first one.

      All of these things you do... math problems, getting on the computer, reading ... these things are the antithesis of sleeping and dreaming as they require Beta (alert) brainwaves. Next time listen to relaxing music and visualize. Good luck!

      I don't think it matters if you've had a lucid dream before you try to WILD.

      thanks ill have my ipod by my bed next time and i will relax and chill for like 15-20 min before i attempt it agian.

      This is the most frustrating part. This is my 3rd day in a row trying to LD and 2nd day trying to WILD. Yesterday i reached SP but fell asleep.
