For some people (including me) it works to put on pressure to get Lucid. Sure recall goes down when you try too hard, but not for Lucids. It's different for everyone. |

I have been considering this for a while as I put a ton of pressure on myself and it doesn't really seem to work. I should know better, anything I have ever wanted and received in life was effortless, but it is really hard for me to stop putting out the effort to lucid dream. I think I will go ahead and go a few nights without really trying but this isn't the first time I have said this. For some reason with lucid dreaming I just have a strong feeling that my effort is needed, but like you said this could very well be holding me back as anytime I feel this way about something I end up limiting my potential. I'll see how it goes, it is getting rather frustrating when you focus on lucid dreaming all day and incorporate all of these methods just to wake up with some boring dream about school or something... I need to meditate on this |
