      well, in my honest opinion i feel one really must keep a dream journal if you are commited to lucid dreaming. It is the basic requirment, but since you have good recall already imagine how much better it could be!

      i find one of the ways to stimulate a vivid dream or to easily remember dreams is to flick through my journal at night...it gets your mind accessing a whole separate set of memories(dream ones) and thinking in a different way!

      each to his own though...

      some people just have naturally good recall, or you can build recall and stop having to use it after a long period of time of doing so.
