I dont meditate at all when performing a sitting technique. I just fall asleep then either wake up in the dream or float out of my chair. Im going to start a thread about the sitting method i use, but in general what im doing is sitting at a 120 to 130 degree angle in a reclining chair. I then put a pillow on my neck and lower back so my field of vision is forwards not sideways downwards or upwards. When i sit like this im comfortable enough to fall asleep but iam also able to maintain some awareness of my body and not fall into a deep slumber.
