I've heard meditation can help when attempting to stay aware. Just try and stay aware but don't think too much, sounds like you are doing the right think as it's mainly about relaxation. |

So anyway, last night, I woke up, and I rolled over with my eyes closed, kind of still asleep, and I realised I was awake, but I thought I might be able to deild seeing I was very sleepy and I hadn't opened my eyes. I know you're supposed to lay perfectly still, but it just felt right. I closed my eyes, and visualised the dream I had waken up with. I was being stalked by some mysterious girl. So I focus on walking, and repeated the dream. I tryed to take it all in, and it kind of englulfed me. But I just fell asleep without awarness, and I had a different dream. Any advice? |

When I tried the DEILD method I usually had vivid, non-lucid dreams, different from the previous ones. Then I decide to try the WBTB method at 4 or 5 am when I spontaneouly wake up. Before going back to bed I tryed 15 minutes of sitting meditation. It turned out that I was a little more succsessful in attaining lucidity. |

It sounds like you are doing it correctly. DEILD can be hit or miss. The timing can mess you up if you are at the end of your dream cycle. |

Sounds like you did all the right things.... sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn't. Keep at it! |
