how do YOU get you motivation back ???

      hi every one,
there is no doubt that motivation is a very important thing in lucid dreaming, but many lucid dreamers suffers from lack of motivation,so i posted this thread for dreamers to know each others thechnics to get motivation back.
i for example when my motivation starts to go down i simply lie in my bed and i start day dreaming of what i could do in a lucid dream (didn't do much in my 2 short lucid dreams)
if that does not work i get outside to take a walk ,i do a realty check and i pretend that it has failed, and i start observing my surroundings and espishaly the sky and i keep in mind that i can have lucid dreams with the same kind of vivedness, the only difference that in lucid dream, I CAN DO ANYTHING I WANT.

post your thechnic, it may help a fellow dreamer

I get on this website and read about others' amazing lucid experiences. I then try to boost my confidence as much as possible and then try to go to bed.

**Warning: Confidence boosts before bed may result in difficulty falling asleep due to increase in excitement that accompany confidence.

I agree with both of you. Just remind yourself of all the possibilties. It also helps te remember the excitement when you first found out about LDing, when your mind went racing about the possibility of ANYTHING being possible. I never need those though, I find it impossible to lose motivation on the possibility of doing anything at all.

Yeah, agreed. Every time I feel like I'm just gone from lucid dreaming and have no chance? I come on back to Dream Views.

A lot of the times though, my only necessary motivation is thinking of my last lucid dream, or the one before that. Even my first lucid dream.

That glorious 5 seconds of looking over a field in that amazing detail of my first LD...

Or that glorious 5 minutes of doing whatever I wanted in my last LD.

Just thinking of those things gets me ready for another lucid dream. Haha.

100% in agreement. The experience of a LD is motivation enough for me. There is absolutely nothing like it.

I just compare how regular life in a day would look compared to not even 5 mins in a lucid dream. Obviously it's going to be infinitely better and more exciting, and that's my motivation. To remember the day I had and then try to re-live it that night, only better.
