Question i have a few questions..

hi, my name is ricardo, im from brazil..
i started my quest for Lucid Dream a few days ago, and even with a lot of reading about i still have some questions..

u know, always when i wake up, the only thing i remember about a dream is the last scene, and is always not clear at all.. is that normal? i keep using self-suggestion mettods to have a lucid dream or even to remember then, but it seems not working at all.. someone has any type?

oh, and i have readed about the binaural beats... does it really works?
and, to have a lucid dream, do you have to lie down with face up, as we do to induce an SP?

one more.. i was wondering, the dream world is like an entire world created by our subconscious, is that right? as long i didnt get clear the subsection PERSONAL AND SPIRITUAL EXPLRATION, it is possible, in this subconscious world, to explore and change somethings about me, about my way of acting or thinking in the wake world?

and one last thing.. it is possible to some people never have a lucid dream, or an SP?
well, with another frustrated night,i guess i will try again (:

im sorry about my english, Brazilian edutation is not the best ):
      thank you for attention

You should write your dreams in a dream journal. That will help with your recall. Write in it, even if all you remember are a few words or feelings. That will let your mind know, that dreaming and remembering your dreams is important to you.

I have not tried binaural beats, but they are suppose to work. Not sure, if for everybody.

Some people believe, that our dreams are just in our heads, others, that they could be something else. But in any case, I believe, that you can make changes to your behaviour, by acting it out in your dream and see how it feels (test drive it) And yes, you can do personal and spiritual exploration. For this, I would recommend book "Lucid dreaming, Gateway to the inner self" by Robert Waggoner. Most of his book is about self-explorations. Very good descriptions of his lucid dreams, what mantras he used to get different things in his dreams and lots of other cool stuff. Here is his website Lucid Dreaming - Gateway to the Inner Self > Home

      Moved to Attaining Lucidity
Personally if you have questions it's best to put them there

Binaural Beats are really hit or miss.

Yes, until you start writing your dreams in a diary as soon as you awaken, this will strengthen your ability to remember your dreams.

Keep practicing. My friend would spend an hour and a half every night writing, 'When I dream I will realsie that Im dreaming.' It took a month before he had a lucid dream. Effort and practice is sometimes required.

I have done a lot of experimentation with brainwave entrainment, which is the process where you use binaural beats to altar the frequency of your predominant brainwaves. Incidentallly I don't use binaural beats, I use isochronic tones as they are more effective. Some say they have achieved lucidity with them, but from a purely scientific viewpoint, and in my opinion, brainwave entrainment alone is highly unlikely to induce lucids.

Choose whichever position feels comfortable for you.

In my opinion, no. From my experience the dreamworlds are not a conjuration of the human brain or subconscious mind, but a separate reality as real as the universe we live in.

Absolutely. From my experience you can achieve in a few minutes within a lucid dream what would take weeks of daily sessions of hypnosis.

I have spoken to several people over sixty years old and they say haven't ever had a lucid dream.

Try not to get frustrated. Learn as much as you can from this forum. Keep practicing and you will be presented with a crown of success one day.
