If you fall asleep too fast after WBTB, maybe you didn't stay up long enough. Keep your mind entertained with mantras, focusing on your breating, or counting. Experiment between 5 min to 1 hour. You should be in perfect balance of thinking clearly, but still tired. Check out the SAT technique I have linked in my previous post. And don't worry about SP. Somebody is aware of being in it, others aren't. It's just a stepping stone, not the goal. And when doing MILD/DILD, there is no need for SP at all, you just fall asleep normally and in a regular dream you will realize you are dreaming.

As for favorite WILD - WBTB for sure, around 4-5am for about 30 min. Then just laying down and waiting for images behind closed eyelids. That's the easiest way for me to enter lucid dream. Sometimes I don't see the images but get vibrations instead, or a headrush - acceleration sensation. With these, entry to LD is more of a floating out of my body feeling.

Wish you good luck
