Unhappy I need help inducing sleep parlysis

so ive been trying to induce sp but the best i have gotten is a really numb arms,
all i know about sp is you need to lie still for a long time and not move, not even your eyes, but ive got nothing else, i also tried wake back to bed last night (slept from 9:30-3:00 stayed up till 4 and woke up for school at 7) and then tried sp with no success, is that the right way its done?

it would be great if i could get some tips eg: do you need a calm mind? best position to lay? time it takes ect....

      thankyou

What time are you trying to get into SP? That can play a big factor.

Sounds like you just need to relax more. First get into the most comfortable position for you, close your eyes, and just stay still. There are many relaxation techniques you can try. One of my favorites is where you tense one muscle in your body at a time, then relax it until you can gone through all the muscles in your body. A calm mind would also help for sure. Just lay still like you are going to sleep but stay aware.

No problem! If you can, getting into SP would be a lot easier if you do it in the middle of the night. If you let your body sleep for a few hours and then wake up to get into SP, it will come a lot more naturally. Good luck!

Well I've never tried to go for sleep paralysis but last night I tried binaural beats and it helped me completely relax my mind and I saw kind of a bright light for a second then Ii started to get a little harder to breathe and my feet began to go numb and even tho I knew I was begining sleep paralysis well I thought I opened my eyes for some reason.... was that SP tho?

Relaxation technique. Deep breathing always works best for me. Just take a really long breathe and hold it for 3-5 seconds and then exhale. Feel your body relax with each exhale and keep it up till you are extremely relaxed and tension free
