If your eyes are bugging out like this, you are already asleep. It is time to enter a dream. Direct your attention away from your body, and into a dream scene. The weird sensations in your body are going to be distracting, but be patient and persevere. Imagine a new dream scene, with a new body for yourself. If you bounce back and forth a few times, don't worry. With your racing heart, you might even feel like you have ruined everything, and are now totally awake. You are not awake. Don't be fooled. If you've made it this far, you just need a bit of patience to make the last jump. Sometimes I get two or three rounds of vibrations, racing heart, body distortions, ect, before I can enter a dream. Just be patient. |

That happens to me too when doing nap wilds. I haven't done that in a while now though but I think you need to learn to not pay it any attention, let it happen, have the room really dark and then it doesnt matter so much. |

Yes and with DEILD it shouldnt be a problem because you will find yourself in the dream before this happens I think. |

Well, my DEILD experience of last night (which was also my first DEILD experience) lasted something like 5 mn, ending with this eyelid bug. Don't you have any idea to help me solve my problem? |

No I'm sorry I don't.. Are you sure it was your eyes waking you up? Maybe your not tired enough. When I do deild and wild in the night I'm too tired to notice my body at all. If you can't focus away from your eyes, try to be really tired and use a strong anchor instead. |

I've seen many many many posts concerning when to LD and I have reached this point at the time when i am going to bed anytime between 10 or 1:00 in the morning. I gave up after achieving this state, the only time i had reached it was before going to bed rather than in the middle of the night =/ so i am curious to know whether or not I should continue practising b4 bed, cause evrytime i try something in the middle of the night it either doesn't work or i sleep through my alarm some how.. |
