ok, so i know the techniques for LD's, but i'm not sure i am able. last night i was utterly determined to have a lucid dream (mild), but it didnt work and and hour later i realized i was soaked in sweat. when i finally got to sleep, i woke up and had no recall of any dream, no matter how hard i tried. any advice?

i dont drink alcohol
i finished watching TV and using my laptop 2 hours before bed.
I have sleeping problems and take 6mg melatonin every noght.
i frequently reality check in real life
i contantly remind myself for an hour before bed that i will:
1)do reality checks in my dreams.
2)be able to remeber my dreams

and throughout the whole day i build up confidence that i WILL have a lucid dream.

Any help will be really appreciated
