Yes it does. You'll just have a few dreams in a non REM sleep. You need to sleep more to get a REM sleep. |

I am practicing now the SAT, ADA and other DILD techniques. Im very confident that im having Lucid dream because of my consistent RCs. But the problem is, I cant get enough sleep. I slept just 5 hours because i have classes and i have to wake up in the morning. WIth this, I can't remember or for me, it's like i didn't have a dream in the night. Does sleep hours affect the dreams to occur? |

Dreams will increase in intensity and duration the longer you sleep. |

Oh tnx for the answer. 8 hrs of sleep is enough right? |
|
8hrs is normal, the more sleep the better but don't get 5 hrs. I get by on around 6 1/2 |

Spoiler for Secret to LDing:
While most people say that 8 hours is the average amount of time needed, I find that 10 hours works better if I want lucid dreams. I was a lot more successful in achieving lucidity by rearranging my schedule to fit into the extra sleep. Have to wake up the morning? Fine, then I just make sure to go to bed early. |

If you don't sleep for one big block, try naps. Find a good nap time in the late afternoon when you regularly have dreams. If your timing is good, and you are sleep deprived, you will launch immediately into REM. A 20 minute nap can be an amazing 15 minutes of lucid dreaming. |

Ok thank you very much. That's a big help for me |
